DIRECTOR

Honorable Ukam obtained his First School Leaving Certificate from Abanwan Primary School, Abanwan in 1977. He obtained a General Certificate of Education from the Vocational Commercial School, Ntan Ekere in 1985. Honourable Ukam holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Political Science from the University of Uyo (1991) and Bachelor of Laws(LL. B Hons) from the University of Calabar (2000).

He taught at the Community Secondary School, Ugep in 1990 and was elected into the CrossRiver State House of Assembly twice (1991-1993 and 1999-2003) and the Federal House of Representatives twice also (2003-2007 and 2007-2011). He was a lecturer in the then Cross River State Polytechnic, Calabar now Cross River University of Technology, between 1995 and 1996. He is a member of the Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution (IPCR), Abuja, 2018 and the Acting Chairman, IPCR, Abuja, 2018 to date.

He is currently a business man and the Founder/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Global Dreams Hotels since 2008 to date likewise Alim Investment, since 2011 to date. He has also attended various international trainings outside Nigeria.

Honourable Ukam has been on the Board of Directors of First Royal Microfinance Bank limited since August, 2009.

BISHOP CHIMEZIE EMMANUEL OGBULEKE

DIRECTOR

Bishop (Elect) Ogbuleke is an indigene of Abia State and a retired Director of Finance from the Abia State Civil Service.

He is a graduate of the Association of Business Executives (ABE), London in June, 1991 and was admitted into the College of Fellows in July, 1998. He was also graduated with the Chartered Institute of Administrators of Nigeria as a Chartered Financial Administrator also in July, 1998 and was admitted into the College of Fellows in December, 2015. In March, 2007 he obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Accountancy from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN).

He working experience began with Osondu Transport Company Limited in between 1979-1981 and then with Osondu Bottling Company Limited in August, 1984-February, 1987 as an Accounts Supervisor. Thereafter, he joined the Water Board of old Imo State as an Executive Officer (Accounts) until the creation of Abia State which prompted him to join the Abia State Civil Service until his retirement.

Bishop (Elect) Ogbuleke was honoured by the Abia State Government in June, 2008 as a Justice of Peace and is currently a Principal Consultant at Ekeuba and Associates, Finance and Management Consultants.

He joined the Board of Directors of First Royal Microfinance Bank Limited in 2018.

HIS GRACE, ARCHBISHOP EMMANUEL AMIE ESEZOBOR (B.Sc. Hons, M.Sc, Ph.D, FCIB)

DIRECTOR NOMINEE

Dr. Esezobor hails from Esan South-East in Edo State.

He obtained his Bachelors Degree (B.Sc.) in Business Administration from the University of Lagos in 1984, his Masters Degree (M.Sc.) in Finance from the University of Calabar in 2002 and his Doctorate Degree, also in Finance from the Delta State University in 2020.

In 1975 Dr. Esezobor became an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (CIB), London with a Distinction in International Finance and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) and Institute of Financial Services, London in 1985. In 2005 he became an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators and a Certified Trainer of the Center for Management Development in 2009.

Dr. Esezobor has also attended a number of overseas recognized trainings like the Training Management of the Industrial Society, London in 1982, Leadership Best Practices of the Harvard Business School, San Francisco, U.S.A. in 2008 amongst others.

Dr. Esezobor rose from the position of a Clerk to a Supervisor at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) between 1969-1976. He held various managerial positions at New Nigeria Bank Plc. including that of a Branch Manager in London and Benin City, between 1976-1990. He was an Operations Manager at Great Merchant Bank Ltd., between 1990-1991. He worked with People’s Bank of Nigeria as an Assistant General Manager, between 1991-1992. Between 1992-1994 he worked with Melrose Trust Savings and Loans Ltd. As a Deputy General Manager.

Having garnered enough practical experience from the finance industry, Dr. Esezobor ventured into the academia as a Consultant/Course Lecturer at the CIB, London, between 1996-2000. He worked as a part-time Lecturer at the Stanmore College, Elm Park, Stanmore, U.K., also between 1996-2000. Between 2000-2010 he worked with the CIBN as a Director in various areas. He is currently a Member of the Governing Council of King’s Polytechnic, Ubiaja, Edo State as well as a Senior Lecturer in Samuel Adegboyega University, Ogwa, Edo State, since 2011. He worked as an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State, between 2012-2014.

Dr. Esezobor is a seasoned banker and scholar with a wealth of experience in finance and banking industry and several publications to his name. He joined the Board of Directors of First Royal Microfinance Bank Limited since 2018.
